Exclusive Interview with creative mind in the fashion industry Justin Etienne
Clay : Okay first question is a question I ask myself every time I see your page. How do you feel about H&M allegedly taking your idea?
Justin : Honestly I feel pretty nonchalant about it for the most part .. only because there's not much I can do at this point. It only helped me realize my potential and I just have to stay positive and keep creating new ideas. Brands can't emulate creativity..
Clay : That's a fact. If you had a patent you’d have a lot of money right now though from that lawsuit lol. Now question two was your design a part of a clothing line or just an idea that came to life?
Justin : lol it's hard to explain but I wouldn't have won bc it's just fabric. I can't patent a fabric sadly.
The gleam series was an idea that came to life when I was sitting on my couch one day watch Dior and I on Netflix. It was just something I did in the moment to fight my emotions. I was going through a hard time
Clay : do you feel that all young aspiring artist should try to channel their emotions through their artwork?
Justin : I do think artists should try to do that. Because it hits people more. It leaves a sense of curiosity and people can relate.
The best part about Channeling emotions is that it's more likely to get instilled within people's hearts.

Clay : Do you believe social media has a positive or negative effect on fashion? And how do you use social media to promote your fashion ideas?
Justin : Honestly, it’s both. Social media is very positive now a days , because of how fast people can connect with each other. It's a really good way of marketing because most our generation spends most of their time online.. The negative aspect is that , many people take other creatives' ideas and try to make it seem like it was their own original idea. So that question goes of in two different directions for me sadly.
It all just starts of with an idea or a vision. And I kind of just foreshadow things by creating a pattern of pictures and quotes that will eventually lead to the final product.
Clay : Bouncing off of this then do u believe fashion is heading in the right direction ?
Justin : That's a hard a question. There are so many different directions. So many people are creating their own lanes and it's beautiful. Some people disagree with one way of doing things and vice versa. I feel like our generation is becoming more open minded so it is is allowing fashion to expand even more. That's what I believe
Clay : Word word now what can fashion industry expect from you ?
Justin : Just seeing the good in everything and projecting it through my work
Clay : And any projects on the way or that's staying lowkey ?
Justin : I'm about to bring this new idea to life. It's a lot of work but I'm learning to be patient.
Another great interview for the Martians archive, I hope all viewers can appreciate and learn from this unique interviews. Sometimes ideas get stolen but the grind must never stop.
